Daily challenges really are substantial but also relative – Thailand is very exciting country, and BKK has its pulse you just need to feel. Coming to work here in Bangkok is a little bit different than I am used to. Or let say, we build 2,4km tunnel in Tampere, because we didn’t want to stay in 15 minutes traffic in our ‘rush hours’. Here, traffic can be jammed for several hours, and I don’t hear anybody complaining, it’s normal.
Thinking about each other’s daily ways to come to work, actually reminds me about one summer when me and a colleague made a bet, that both of us will come to work by feet. Either running, walking (or crawling). This happened in Hyvinkää (southern Finland). We were living over 20km from work. He actually had 60kms and I roughly 22km. Did we do that? – you’ll find out the last chapter.
