Remote and Proactive
Together we connected the trace heating controllers to a local site server and created a web technology based software to monitor and control the whole trace heating system remotely from the control room.
This system is called Skytrace Site, and its main purpose is to monitor the trace heating efficiency and proper operation of all the heating circuits in the system. Proactive maintenance is made possible by gathering long-term data on average component lifespan and combining it with the intelligent alert system.
Data for the win
The directors of industrial businesses are able to track the heating efficiency of several facilities simultaneously with the new Skytrace Cloud system.
We developed the cloud system to be a simple user interface for the analyzed big data that we gather from all the Skytrace Site instances.
Having access to this data, the management is able to see the effects of different process setups, heating cables and other factors on the cost of the trace heating. The performance of the different hardware combinations can be measured and the setups can be improved for long-term cost savings.
