  We are looking for an experienced mobile developer with Flutter skills!

  At Codemate, we build digital solutions that stand the test of time. We’re looking for an experienced mobile developer to join our growing Flutter team. You’ll work on meaningful projects with ambitious clients, alongside a skilled and supportive crew.

  We are particularly known for our expertise in Flutter. We’ve been working with Google and contributed to the development of Flutter itself, and through our Flutter-focused brand Rebel App Studio by Codemate we are an active part of the amazing Flutter community. Many of our projects push the boundaries of what Flutter can do – across all platforms.

  While Flutter is a key focus, we’re not looking for Flutter-only developers. We value broad technical backgrounds – whether your experience lies in native iOS, Android, web technologies or other frameworks. Your versatility helps us build smarter, more sustainable solutions.

  AI-native engineering, on mobile

  Mobile work at Codemate is changing shape: AI-augmented development in the daily loop, and more and more products with on-device models or LLM-backed features in them. Our own agentic UX platform, Paimen AI, is built for exactly these apps — mobile and web, existing or new. We are not asking you to be an ML engineer — we are asking you to be the kind of developer who works out what these tools are genuinely good at, and ships accordingly.

  What we’re looking for:

  You have years of experience building mobile apps using a range of technologies. Flutter is one of your tools – but not your only one.

  Things we value:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in mobile development
  • Professional Flutter experience (mobile, web, desktop), plus other relevant tech skills (e.g. native iOS/Android, React Native or web stacks)
  • Solid understanding of app architecture and modern development practices
  • You care deeply about quality, and know about automated testing. Experience of Flutter widget or integration testing is a plus
  • A mindset for maintainable, testable and scalable code
  • Comprehensive understanding of mobile systems, and understanding of the specific requirements of developing apps for them
  • A working relationship with AI tooling – you use it where it earns its place and review what it produces
  • Fluent English skills

  You might be the Software Architect we are looking for if you…

  • have 8+ years of relevant experience in professional software development
  • can design and develop web systems and cloud solutions using modern open-source technologies
  • create software and cloud architectures that are scalable, secure and efficient
  • have a view on where AI belongs in an architecture — and where it does not
  • are curious and hands-on, always learning and applying the latest technologies
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real-world challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.

  What you would actually architect

  A growing share of our work is AI-native: agentic workflows, LLM-backed services, and the platform work that makes them dependable in production — including our own agentic UX platform, Paimen AI. Paimen™ assembles the interface around what a user is actually trying to do, which makes an architect’s instinct for allow-lists, guardrails and audit trails matter more, not less. You do not need to arrive as an AI specialist — but you should be curious about how these systems change the shape of an architecture, and honest about what they cost to run.

  We are a bunch of code-enthusiasts and designers who value team spirit, as well as inspiring and challenging projects. Organising extra-curricular activities for games, culture, sports or parties is something we enjoy a lot and you’re more than welcome to join!
